Wuxi, May 2024 — SENMA MOTOR's Marine Motor Series has received type approval from the China Classification Society (CCS), confirming compliance with marine industry standards for shipboard electrical equipment.
The CCS approval covers motors designed for marine environments, featuring: - Enhanced corrosion resistance with C5-M coating systems - Vibration tolerance for shipboard mounting - Tropicalization for high-humidity environments - Compliance with marine electrical standards
The approval process included design review, type testing, and factory assessment by CCS surveyors. Tests verified performance under marine conditions including salt spray exposure, vibration, and tropical humidity.
"Marine applications demand exceptional reliability and durability," the company stated. "CCS approval validates our marine motor design and manufacturing quality."
The approved marine motors are suitable for various shipboard applications including pump drives, fan systems, deck machinery, cargo handling equipment, and auxiliary drives. They are available in power ranges from 0.12kW to 315kW.
SENMA MOTOR is also pursuing additional marine classification society approvals to expand international market access.
